An exclusive opportunity to taste the breadth of Geisha across three origins and processing methods—each priced according to rarity, processing precision, and provenance. From the iconic Panamanian La Esmeralda to high-elevation expressions from Peru and Colombia, this trio offers a side-by-side comparison of how terroir, process, and craft influence both flavour and value.
The coffees featured:
-
Geisha / 01, Santa Barbara, Colombia - Honey
This lot has mellowed over time, offering a more subtle yet graceful expression of Geisha. Its nuance lies in its balance rather than intensity—making it an ideal contrast when tasted alongside the brighter Panamanian and Peruvian counterparts. Its honey process adds textural warmth, while careful roasting preserves the coffee’s underlying complexity and refined finish.
Expect delicate top notes, soft red fruits like raspberry and red apple, and a mellow sweetness reminiscent of honey and chamomile. Well-structured, with a lingering softness that rounds out this trio beautifully.
-
Geisha / 02, Familia Alarcón, Peru - Washed
This lot continues to impress with its balance of lively acidity and delicate florals. The washed process was executed with precision, allowing the inherent quality of the Geisha variety and Peru's terroir to shine through. It performs beautifully as a filter brew, with its complexity unfolding steadily as it cools.
Retaining its clarity, floral lift, and vibrant stone fruit character. Expect notes of white peach, nectarine, and orange blossom, with a long, refreshing honeybush tea finish.
-
Geisha / 03, La Esmeralda, Panana - Natural
This naturally processed Geisha from the legendary Jaramillo
farm at Hacienda La Esmeralda sets a benchmark for clarity and complexity, with expressive notes of jasmine, tropical florals, bergamot, ripe pineapple, and lychee.
Its silky texture and vibrant aromatics reflect both the precision of the natural process and the integrity of itsrenowned terroir. Roasted with the intent to preserve its refined acidity and floral depth, showcasing why this origin remains the standard for Geisha.
