We Are Hiring | Retail and Hospitality Manager

We are looking for a Retail and Hospitality Manager to help lead our cafe teams, and grow our commitment to exceptional customer service. This role offers an opportunity to shape our customer interactions, manage day-to-day operations, and help lead a fantastic team.


Responsibilities Include: 

  • Working across multiple locations
  • Leading and developing our FOH (front-of-house) teams, ensuring excellent customer engagement
  • Managing the daily operations of our retail spaces, including staffing, scheduling, and training
  • Developing and maintaining a customer-centric approach to service that embodies Rosetta’s values and ethos
  • Monitoring customer feedback and helping develop strategies to continuously improve the customer experience
  • Overseeing inventory management, including ordering, stock control, and introducing new products
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to create and implement promotional material
  • Cultivating a positive and supportive work environment by providing leadership and guidance to staff
  • Implementing and enforcing company policies related to code of conduct, health and safety, hygiene, and sanitation
  • Managing internal team dynamics, including training, conflict resolution, and performance evaluations
  • Managing merchandising, repairs, and maintenance of retail spaces, and coordinating with contractors
  • Ensuring retail and hospitality areas are clean, organised, and meet our brand standards
  • Ensuring food and beverage quality control
  • Maintaining a positive cost management index, (i.e. balancing actual vs. budgeted costs)
  • Helping drive business development by identifying growth opportunities, contributing insights and refining operational performance

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in retail or hospitality management. Experience in fine-dining or high-end hospitality a plus
  • Excellent customer service and front-of-house skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A highly developed EQ, with the ability to lead, listen and inspire a diverse team
  • Adaptability and a desire to learn and hone new skills
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution abilities
  • Proficiency in inventory control and cost management
  • Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems and managing costings
  • Medium-level proficiency with spreadsheets and data analysis
  • Ability to manage and improve operational protocols
  • Specialty coffee experience is a plus, but not essential. A keenness to learn about it, quickly, is!
